BLS 4353 & 4355 were out in Kittatinny Valley State Park covering the Friend2Friend - Summer Solstice run this evening during the severe weather event. At 19:19, 4353 responded to Interstate 80 East at MM 23.0 in Byram Township for a MVC. Seven minutes later, 4355 was requested into Warren County, Allamuchy Township on the Interstate at MM 19 Eastbound for a tractor-trailer vs. car to assist Allamuchy-Green First Aid Squad with multiple patients. Subsequently, BLS 4351 marked up to cover the original race standby in Andover Township. Our friends over at Newton Squad have had several calls already this evening as well! Who doesn't love a busy first Friday night of the summer? ...

This evening we sent a BLS crew to ride along with the hundreds of motorcycles participating in the 30th Annual Gooch's Garlic Run! Lakeland has provided EMS support for the Run for many of the thirty years it has been going on now. 4355 staffed by EMTs Ken Kuter and Peter Spinney enjoyed a nice evening and dinner in Newark. ...

VCI Emergency Vehicles shared some photos of the remount progress with us this week! They're looking good! We've made some additional production changes including a major OEM frame cut to adjust the wheelbase sizes and remove the custom cabinetry between the cab and module. This change adapts our older modules that we're built for a van chassis to sit on a truck chassis with less of an after market look. We're getting excited - what do you think of the progress? ...
