Not something caught on camera everyday - Lakeland BLS 4353 and Saint Clare's Health MICU en route to Newton Medical Center with the second of the back to back calls they handled. Quickly followed by Newton Volunteer First Aid & Rescue Squad BLS 3651 southbound on their way to cover our third call with another St. Clare's paramedic unit. A few tweaks were made to the rear and side-body flash patterns today. The major noticeable change will be in the top five lights above the loading doors as we didn't like staggered-split look; they will change to full top-bottom flash. ...

Members of the Ambulance Committee made an on-site visit to VCI Emergency Vehicles today in South Berlin, NJ for a final, pre-delivery inspection of the remounts. 4353 has a few days worth of finishing touches left, and while it looks like 4351 still has a way to go, she actually isn't that much farther behind. The staggered delivery of a week or two should give us the time we need to swap out the equipment from the loaner ambulances and get one vehicle inspected by the State and on the road in time for the other loaner to be stripped down, only reducing our fleet to 3 ambulances for a short time. ...

5K trail run or walk. Run for free by raising $100 or more in pledges.Chip timing for 5K. Put together a team of 5 or more runners and/or walkers to be eligible for team prizes. There is also a 2K run or walk (1.25 miles) that is not timed. All 5K and 2K partiicipants are eligible for door prizes.
