Twenty-eight squad members made it out to assist at the Hudson Farm Charity Hike today (not all pictured as some were hiking)! Good thing we got this picture when we did since the late morning got busy with three of our ambulances having to leave for calls and transports from the event. 4351 and 4353 even got to make their first simultaneous appearance at a hospital together at Atlantic Health System’s Newton Medical Center since 4351 being officially put in service yesterday. Our most sincere appreciation to the Hudson Farm foundation and staff as well as everyone who came out to hike today! ...

Maybe it's the moon, but this evening between 18:18 and 19:24 we were dispatched to four separate incidents; all four were handled by our volunteers in our three in service ambulances. The busy evening started with a trauma involving a motorcycle in Byram; 4352 was assigned to that call. Moments later, Andover Township Volunteer Fire Department and 43 Rescue were sent to a car versus tree in the Drake Manor section of town; both 4353 and 4355 responded, with 4353 transporting that patient to a regional trauma center. 4352 transported their patient to a local hospital. A medical call came next in Byram Township followed a minute later by another medical in Andover Township. 4355 was assigned to the Byram call and transported to a local hospital; 4352 took the call in Andover Twp., subsequently obtaining a refusal. Great job by all of our on and off-duty personnel tonight! ...
