The Lakeland Emergency Squad proudly serves Andover Borough, Andover Township, and Byram Township. The Emergency Squad currently operates out of two buildings running four Ambulances, a First Response Unit, and an Staging Area Management / Rehab trailer (in cooperation with the NJ EMS Task Force). Our Headquarters in Byram is located on Route 206 just South of Cranberry Lake. Station 2, in Andover is located at the intersection of Goodale Road and Route 206. The Lee Hill Substation is located on Lee Hill Road in Byram Township.

Our first due coverage area is approximately 50 square miles of southern Sussex County, where over 15,000 people reside, about 10% of the County’s population. We provide mutual aid to the surrounding towns including Stanhope, Hopatcong, Green, Allamuchy, and Sparta.

The Squad responds to a wide range of incidents including medical emergencies, fire calls, and motor vehicle accidents. We also provide standby support to local youth sporting events, mountain biking competitions, and events at Waterloo Village. Residents of Andover Boro, Andover Township, Byram Township, and the surrounding municipalities are always invited to volunteer with the Squad.
