The Lakeland EMS volunteer membership is composed of a diverse group of individuals and families from various walks of life. There is no prerequisite to have any health care experience ahead of joining! If you are interested
in becoming a member, please complete our online application or send us an email at webmaster@lakelandems.org.
Not sure what EMS is all about? Drop by one of our meetings and drills at Station 1 the first and third Tuesday evenings of each month beginning at 8:00 PM and 7:30 PM respectively. We welcome visitors and would be more than
happy to show you around and answer any questions you may have!

Career Staffing
After 80 years of 100% volunteer service to our communities, Lakeland EMS voted in mid-2018 to bring on career EMTs to supplement the work of our dedicated volunteers in order to continue to maintain our high service levels and quality
of care standards. On Monday morning, March 11th, 2019 at 05:00, we officially began the next chapter as a combination department with our staffed ambulance signing on for their first shift.
Applications are collected on a rolling basis. Interested candidates can download the application packet below or may request an application packet be sent to you by emailing careers@lakelandems.org. Completed applications should
